National Sales Manager - 12 Month Temporary Term

The National Sales Manager will provide support to the Sr. Director of Stores, Store Directors, and Regional Sales Managers in the development, communication, and auditing of Retail locations in 5 key areas: Sales & Margin Performance, Add on Performance, Sales Reporting, Implementing Sales Initiatives/Programs, Consistent Sales Communication and Follow up to Store Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the consistent planning/execution of sales programs and standardized sales processes in the stores
  • Organize sales materials for Regional Sales Managers to provide support for all levels of the sales organization, including sales consultants and GSMs
  • Coordinate sales promotional materials and education to ensure consistency in execution
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, including sales, margin add-ons, closing ratios, average sale, traffic and as-is margins to identify locations that are underachieving; Providing support to the Regional team on solutions
  • Identify, prioritize and execute on all opportunities to reduce processes within our Retail locations to increase sales focus
  • Analyze sales, develop strategies and make recommendations to improve areas that require improvement (category sales, add-ons)
  • Monthly review of financial statements on sales KPI’s to identify areas of concern and top performance while driving continued improvement through benchmarking
  • Finalize written sales budgets and prepare contest targets and rules
  • Work with our vendors and merchants to assist in the development and reporting of sales programs
  • Action sales strategies to improve sales performance (incentive programs)
  • Develop and maintain sales processes to improve sales performance (goal setting, scheduling processes)

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a sales management position
  • Post secondary degree in Business Management or a related field would be considered an asset
  • Extensive knowledge of all Brick operating systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to motivate and lead management teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Proven ability to manage a wide variety of assignments at once and manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills and work ethic
  • The desire to promote an extreme level of excellence and pride
