Are you ready for a challlenge? MDC is looking for someone to join the company's largest Reverse Logistics department

Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff members are properly trained and retrained according to training guides and procedures.
  • Develop employees through coaching, goal setting, conducting performance reviews
  • Initiate and implement programs and procedures required to ensure DC safety and cleanliness in all zones
  • Ensure all equipment is in good order and ensure employees perform pre-shift checks
  • Maintain labour budget and cost per unit; assist the manager in planning and scheduling labor daily
  • Understand and process store receiving's including planning for seasonal changes;communicate and liaise with stores for all changes that are required
  • Promote employee involvement in employee relations and safety committees
  • Train and develop employees, identifying and mentoring high potential candidates
  • Ensure all returns are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain KPI accuracy and provide feedback when targets are not met
  • Ensure compliance with all Brick Group policies and procedures while achievning departmental goals through effective staff management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a diverse warehouse environment. Significant experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) in an inventory-controlled environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of materials handling equipment and safe material handling techniques
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Self-motivated, high energy and a strong work ethic
  • Superior planning and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
