Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Brand and Creative Direction, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and producing high-quality flyers and promotional graphics for digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with a sharp eye for design, a solid understanding of digital marketing principles, and a proven ability to craft engaging retail materials that capture attention and drive sales. This role demands a balance between creativity and precision, ensuring that all designs adhere to brand guidelines while resonating with a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce flyers, digital ads, and other marketing materials in alignment with the production schedule;
  • Ensure all marketing materials are delivered on time and consistently adhere to brand guidelines;
  • Prepare proofs for approval; review designs for accuracy in product details, pricing, and other critical information.
  • Research and develop innovative concepts for digital platforms, including desktop, mobile, Facebook, and Instagram;
  • Work closely with marketing and purchasing teams to understand campaign objectives and incorporate feedback into designs.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or a related field;
  • 2-5 years of experience in the design and production of digital and print media;
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop;
  • Strong understanding of user experience in digital flyers and advertising;
  • Working knowledge of a Mac-based systems;
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service attitude;
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage work responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent project changes;
  • This is a on-site position.
