Responsibilities

  • Receive parts shipments, verifying against purchase orders for accuracy
  • Enter parts received into inventory using the computer system and continually monitor inventory stock for re-order, etc.
  • Maintaining neat and organized parts racks
  • Dealing with various suppliers via phone and email
  • Assisting technicians with parts issues
  • Returning of unused, dud and defective parts to suppliers
  • Responsible for yearend inventory count

Qualifications

  • Excellent work ethic: reliability, responsibility and ability to work independently with little direct supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills
  • Ability to handle workload effectively while paying close attention to detail and prioritizing workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Ability to recognize basic mechanical parts
  • Ability to safely lift or move 50 pounds and unload deliveries of heavy items with or without assistance
  • Skill in use of computers, data entry and keyboard usage
