    The GTA Sales Manager will play an active role in developing and mentoring the B2B Commercial sales team (consisting of 24 outside sales reps), in order to achieve their sales objectives through effective planning and goal setting. This individual will analyze data on performance, manage the GTA sales representatives, reinforce sales policies and procedures and make suggestions on sales initiatives moving forward to increase our share of the builder / developer space in high/low rise residential buildings, along with further penetration into the designer, contractor, renovator and other target B2B channels. Reporting to the GTA Director, the sales manager will report progress of the team, projections on future performance, assist in the managing of builder accounts, develop replacement business, secure new opportunities, , as well as work on specific sales initiatives such as trade shows, marketing events and growing specific areas of our business.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive B2B commercial market share growth with a focus on premium and luxury premium appliance brands as well as electronics, office and home furnishings
    • Motivating and coaching sales reps, as well as recruit, select, onboard, and train new sales reps
    • Set targets, performance plans, set standards for sales representatives.
    • Meet with reps one-on-one, to review performance, progress, and targets. (Monthly)
    • Performance reviews for each individual rep
    • Coach, support, discipline, underperforming sales representatives.
    • Work with team to utilize Saleforce as the central system to manage teams leads, opportunities and report back to director on progress of team
    • When required accompany junior sales staff to meetings to assist with closing new business opportunities and or project deals, grow our select reward program and look at new avenues for growth
    • Plan schedule of training from each vendor for sales team and ensure that all necessary certifications are obtained in order to sell high end appliances. (On-going)
    • Provide expertise on high end appliances
    • Analyze sales data and develop plans to address performance gaps.
    • Work with the senior management team to set revenue and sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis
    • Work with Director to create innovative programs for upselling and implement innovative go-to-market strategies

    Qualifications

    • Review daily sales and margin reports, pricing, warranty issues
    • Payroll, twice a week.
    • Design Centre Schedule to ensure coverage for builder upgrade appts, designer appts - Steeprock Showroom, Burlington, Barrie, Mississauga, Scarborough, Whitby, Markham
    • Assist with sales presentations and delivery, price guarantees, competition pricing. Approve deals.
    • Together with Director , Plan and preside over bi-weekly sales team meetings.
    • Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
    • Work in liason with commercial sales customer care team to deliver exceptional client experience to our customers both builder and individual.
    • Coach existing sales team members and new to performance expectations in cold calling, appointment setting, deal closing.
    • New business development in harmony with divisional goals and KPI’s
